The Green Gathering charity takes forward the spirit of the old Big Green Gathering (1982 to 2009). It provides a new model for working collaboratively to host educational and sustainable events which address the social and environmental issues which are demanding our attention with increasing urgency.
The annual Green Gathering event is delivered by the Charity’s trading arm Optimistic Trout Productions, a Community Interest Company.
The charity uses any financial surplus generated by the event to further its educational and environmental objectives, for example by seeding projects and funding educational and environmental activities and initiatives.
